Bisexuality

Post by Campbell305 »

I find that homosexuality and heterosexuality are the only two things discussed and I thought it would be a good idea to start a discussion. Do you think bisexuals exist or they're greedy? Do you think it's only a way of coming out as gay? Let me know what you think on the points I've brought up and feel free to bring up your own if you think they're relevant :)

Sexuality is a spectrum of attraction, and it's a spectrum on every characteristic and grouping of characteristics. There aren't even just heterosexuals, homosexuals, and bisexuals.

There are people who only like, for example, breasts and penises together, or handlebar mustaches and vaginas together, which are hard combinations to find.
Other people only like breasts when not accompanying penises, and penises when not accompanying breasts, or vaginas sans facial hair, or facial hair but just when it goes with something other than a vagina. Or any number of conceivable combinations and "types".

You'll find sexual attraction nearly impossible to neatly and homogeneously categorize, as it mirrors taste in other matters like movies and music.
There are people who mostly like rap, but randomly like a certain subgenre of country music (while disliking others), and like classical music but only when they're drunk.

You can't really put people into boxes like that, it just doesn't work most of the time.

Of course, sexuality is probably much more ingrained by the time a person reaches the point of sexual maturity, through genetic, epigenetic, and early-childhood development, while musical tastes are much more prone to drift or change, and based much less in biology, but in terms of diversity, it's the same basic idea.

I'd recommend looking up the ted talk: 50 shades of gay.
but no i would not say bi people are greedy. people are just people and will do as they feel.

i once had some interaction with another guy but i certainly wouldn't say im bi or gay. it was just the guy. his personality that i was drawn too.
If i knew anything.
Time and space would merge.
Into a fabulous cake!
