Hello.
I'm technically ostrovegan, although I only very rarely eat oysters or mussels.
I'm also a utilitarian and secular buddhist.
I mainly joined because I saw a post on here that I'm interested in responding to, but I'm open to philosophical discussions about ethics, or practical discussions about what we should do to help solve the world's big problems of climate change and snowballing inequality.
Nice to be here and meet you all!

Re: Introducing myself
Hey Red,
I became vegetarian about 17 years ago because I was concerned about climate change. I became ostrovegan about 2 years ago, because of a post from Vegan Sidekick that made very clear that it's impossible to eat industrial animal products without supporting the murder and suffering of sentient animals.
