Hello guys, I'm looking to find some reading material on "minimal moral realism" - so I can understand the position better but unfortunately I can't find much online, wish that wasn't the case tho

That said, can anybody here point me in the direction (gives us some links for stuff to read) or better yet, explain the pros and cons of "minimal moral realism" - if someone can help us, that would be cool!

Minimal moral realism is kind of defined by what it's not, so it may be harder to find information devoted to it specifically since it doesn't really make any bold claims.

Minimal realism is in essence the rejection of the claims of error theory and non-cognitivism. So, arguments for minimal moral realism are arguments against those positions. Minimal realism is just what you're left with if you don't accept or are agnostic to the metaphysical thesis of robust moral realism.

There are a few papers on the topic criticizing "creeping minimalism" but probably not very useful. Sometimes obvious positions, or the null hypothesis, just aren't interesting enough for people to write much on. The distinction between minimal and robust moral realism is more interesting, and the more controversial arguments for means of making it robust.
