Welcome to the forum Aw214! What inspired you to go vegan? What exceptions do you make?

Welcome Aw214.
Your profile reads freegan. What does that entail? Do you eat discarded food?
Freegans are great. On average they probably do less damage to the world than vegans.

You just replied to a question with a question.
Concerning the second part, eating food that would otherwise be wasted has a zero footprint. Eating food that was planted, grown, and possibly transported for human consumption has a small negative environmental impact.
