Hi everyone!

I went vegetarian around March of 2020 and became vegan in May of 2020. Since then, I have become passionate about activism and I hope to learn some new approaches and methods on here!

Welcome bass_boost! What inspired you to go vegan?

Through watching people like earthling ed and joey carbstrong, I realised that my actions (eating animal products) didn't align with my beliefs/morals (animal cruelty is wrong). How about you?

I read the book Fast Food Nation for a summer assignment when I was 12 which opened my mind to veganism, then about a year later I found TheVeganAtheist on youtube (who was the previous owner of this forum), and I watched his vegan stuff, which then led me to seeing Earthlings and reading up on Singer.

Hi Bass Boot, I hope you are doing well. Good for you on the progression you made. I lived in Sheffield for 5 years, it was my University city, what part of Sheffield are you from and do you live in?
