Hi, I am new to the forum. I am an atheist and I was "muslim" before or you could say I tried many religion before just to know how it feels to be part of them. I did believe in god before but not anymore. Now I believe in science which is knowledge about or study of the natural world based on facts learned through experiments and observation (for those who doesn't know). I am not a vegan but it is something that I would want to try.
Things that I like are: Art, music, anime/manga, culture, language, cooking and drawing.
Well, I guess that's all for my introduction.

Re: Hello everyone !
Hi Patrick, welcome!
Actually, science is all about the scientific method. It's not just experiment or observation, but specifically those using the scientific method which controls for human bias and variables (without which, an experiment or observation is not science, and is not scientific knowledge).
Science is basically the opposite of most religion. Where religion codifies human bias, science seeks to eliminate it and find objective truth, regardless of opinion or preconception.

Re: Hello everyone !
Welcome Patrick. Did you actually believe in these religions while you were trying them? Good luck trying veganism. If it goes well it will be the most important change you ever make.
How to become vegan in 4.5 hours:
1.Watch Forks over Knives (Health)
2.Watch Cowspiracy (Environment)
3. Watch Earthlings (Ethics)
Congratulations, unless you are a complete idiot you are now a vegan.

Re: Hello everyone !
Islam was pretty popular so I was curious to know about it and ended up believing in it for a while until I started to question myself about it and then I stopped believing in this religion because it doesn't really made sense to me.brimstoneSalad wrote:No problem, just wanted to clarify details for ya.
