When the media decided on the story about “a guy who ate a bat”, I got very interested in the origin and found it rather quickly. It is in the meat being imported to many countries, from Brazil. This story also informs us about “mad cow disease” infested meat, which is much worse than Covid and takes a couple of decades to show the first first effects of dementia. Be safe and please read!

Re: Does anyone care about the origin of Covid-19 and why?
COVID-19 being widespread in Brazil before being detected in China is incredibly unlikely: there are many old people in Brazil who are sensitive to COVID-19. We'd see massive excess mortality in Brazil before COVID-19 was detected if that were the case. Saying COVID-19 was widespread in Somalia (where life expectancy is 57 years) before being detected in China is barely plausible, but saying it was widespread in Brazil is not plausible.

The unregulated livestock farms of the Amazon were created for McDonald’s meat products for the fast food company’s expansion into China in 1990. Before the pandemic, most of this meat went to the Chinese markets. This is why China was the starting point of the pandemic. China battled epidemics of Covid, before it became a pandemic, mostly secretly. China blocked the meat imports from Brazil, almost collapsing Brazil’s economy, because Covid was found in the products.

Only in so much as I'm interested in virology. However I don't think there's anything exceptional about the origin of this zoonotic virus.

This pandemic, like the last one was most likely started by unregulated livestock farms in Western Missouri. You see, Upton Sinclair’s “The Jungle” was published in 1906. The book details the terrible conditions in the meat packing industry in the city of Chicago and Kansas City. In a short time these meat packers were forced out of the cities and to the Western plains of Missouri, where”Yellow Fever” started. The McDonalds stockholders were warned about their terribly unsafe idea of feeding Asian people meat from the Amazon. I myself was at rallies, where we pleaded with them to NOT expand into China with this business model.. we knew it would cause a pandemic and it has!
