The Meaning of Life is to Help Others

Post by Karavans »

I recently watched Kurzgesagt's video on optimistic nihilism (https://kurzgesagt.org/portfolio/optimistic-nihilism/) and one line stood out to me.

"Bonus points if you made the life of other people better."

Since then, I have tried to make more friends, and make everyone's day a little better for meeting me. I don't detract from other's accomplishments, or belittle me friends. Every choice I make is targeted to send a low grade wave of goodness across the landscape. How can you make other people's lives better, and should some people not be given this gift of happiness?

Let's discuss.
