Philosophical Vegan Forum

Hi I was not sure where to write this. While I a not a atheist I do appreciate their views. I do not believe in imaginary beings being responsible for everything who have ancient people who were on something writing how I should live my life. My belief comes from what I have learned the only god/goddess I worship is the Earth Mother. She has no book, no requirements and is the only living planet in our solar system to have abundant life. She created us and nurtures us and kills us in the cycle of life. I see her and touch and marvel at her beauty daily. Religions written by man are false, man is notorious for lying to get there way and what better way to control the masses than there is some supreme being going to smite you for falling to follow their decries .

That is my opinion, I wish you all the best and hope you find happiness in what ever you believe.

Hello cdj2474, pleased to meet you! I'm happy to here that you admire the Earth and all of its/her beauty. Are you passionate about environmentalism? I hope that you're open to the idea of adopting a vegan lifestyle (if you haven't already; you didn't yet specify), especially considering that this is one of the best things that you can do for the environment. I'm always pleased to meet people who care more about the Earth than they do about who or what they think created it. If you are considering becoming vegan, then there are many forum members here who'd be more than happy to help you out, myself included. Happy belated Earth Day (it was yesterday).
