What do you guys think of this clip?

I watched his whole routine on netflix it was pretty good when he mentioned "vegan atheist" it got my attention and I thought I'd share it's not often those two things come together in stand up!

My thoughts on him saying he'd rather spend an hour with a christian than a vegan atheist well, at least he was honest!

He knows that he if he was forced to have a conversation with a vegan atheist for an hour he'd want to change his way of thinking.

I didn't interpret it quite like that, but it wasn't as bad as some stand up about vegans.

Interesting seeing a comedian make fun of atheists for a change. It didn't really work, though.

I watched it, and I didn't think he was funny. Seems the guy is an atheist, but one of those who doesn't like the label and hates other atheists for standing up to religious bullshit.

He said he doesn't believe in God. If he meant this honestly then he's definitely an atheist, whether he considers himself to be one or not. The word doesn't guarantee anything else about a person. Hence his "jokes" about "atheists" are actually about the illogical caricature views that he holds about atheists.

I agree. I'd even go farther and say that he is very unpleasant to listen to, not just because he is making false and illogical comments about atheists and vegans, but because he is actively spreading misinformation and making very broad generalizations. Not funny in the slightest. I cringed listening to him.

Did you watch the entire hour long session?

I had some goods laughs when he started talking about his younger girlfriend.

He has a show too, absolutely horrible IMO he is a friend of Louie C. K he try's to mimic Louie in his shows and I just can't stand it.
His stand up is a lot better than his tv show I can't even watch five minutes of his tv show.

He said "You didn't save a pig, you wasted one."
He wouldn't go vegan, he's just saying it makes it uncomfortable to eat meat in their presence.

I think he jokes about it as a way to cope with his guilt about it ..
