There is evidence that physical exercise and a non sedentary lifestyle are important for better health. I wanted to know if such activities including physical exercise are part of your routine and on what basis you chose your regimen. Any other pointers, links or books would also be good.

I've recently started exercising regularly, and man does it feel good :) I feel way more energetic and explosive than before.
I don't need to lose weight, but I'm quite skinny, and I wanted to gain some muscle weight.
After a while, it becomes kind of addictive - everyday, unless I workout, I feel kind of disappointed and unsatisfied.

I exercise everyday, but different muscle groups each day - one day abs and core, one day legs and cardio, one day arms and shoulders... you get the picture. This way, you let the muscles you've worked on fully heal (it requires around 24-48 hours, depending on your level and on the amount of muscle tissues you've destroyed).

It's quite easy to find Youtube channels that give advices and tell you what routine to do, but most of them are in it for the views, and advocate eating a lot of meat.
You might see things like 'How to get ripped abs in 1 week doing this simple exercise' - no, that is impossible.

Youtube channels I'd suggest checking out are: https://www.youtube.com/user/nashmedina (vegan)

I start my day with 80 push ups and do some further training sets routinely throughout the day. Planking, push ups, pull ups and that stuff. I Ride to work with my bike and try not to eat to much. But tbh. I fail at the last part, which keeps me away from a sixpack.
