Hi Chris, welcome!

In my book, I'm happy to regard you as a fellow atheist as long as you aren't theist (e.g. theists are those who believe in and regard a being or beings as their god(s)/worship it or them), although I know a lot of atheists are a little stuck up about that and refuse to include people who believe in these beings as a matter of trivial fact but don't regard them as their personal gods or hold them in any particular reverence or worship them.

I'd love to hear more about why you believe there is a creator.

It's great you've decided to go vegan. We will be glad to answer any questions you have, and help you with advice in any way you need. Please don't hesitate to ask.

Welcome Chris. I have also not ruled out the chance of a divine force. I find the idea of a galaxy sized super computer controlling the universe far more likely than a bearded man in the sky who punishes you for eternity if you have sex with the wrong person.

I really hope you are serious about veganism. We are here to help.
How to become vegan in 4.5 hours:
1.Watch Forks over Knives (Health)
2.Watch Cowspiracy (Environment)
3. Watch Earthlings (Ethics)
Congratulations, unless you are a complete idiot you are now a vegan.

You should make a thread about this.

HULLO, I apologize for the super belated reply. A mixture of Calculus 1 and laziness has kept me from my forum duties.
I appreciate the welcome and the response! Very nice to meet you.
I personally dont care too much if you call me an athiest, as i try to not care about lables too much. I believe that there might be something, but im pretty sure whatever being doesn't care to much about us. My belief stems from just the world and how mathematical and beautiful it is. I feel like it had to come from somewhere, a place of knowledge. Its also a bit of the early Catholicism that i grew up with.
As for the vegan thing, i am on my 7th day of being vegetarian. My boyfriend (Cerion Spellbinder) made a post explaining my predicament amd after a talk with my mother, we decided she would help me become vegetarian.
Hope that kinda cleared things up, and again, sorry for the late response.

Thank you!
And i agree, the Christian god seems very concerned with petty things and magic.

Hello sir!
Again I apologize for the late response.
A bit was stated in my response to brimstone's message.
It mostly has to do with the very odd patterns that show up in nature and in the laws that govern the laws of the universe. Its all very cool! I feel like the probability of there being a god that could create some sort of experiment (being our universe) or matter meeting perfect conditions to create infinite space, somewhat equal. Im not saying its right and i don't intend on making others believe, but it brings me hope.
My want to become vegan is kind of a long time coming thing. I've always had a huge respect for vegans and vegetarians because i find their cause noble and kind. I love animals, and im a big advocate for saving the environment but i never put 2 and 2 together. Just because its on my plate doesn't mean it didnt bleed or feel pain. How different am I really from that chicken or cow. The catalyst was meeting Brandon. He's helped me transition and im very greatful.
I hope i can become stronger and become vegan one day, but as of now, vegetarian.
Pray to the Goddess Madoka, who sacrificed herself for our salvation and her kawaii-ness.

^I don't mean to be rude, but you did not answer the question regarding your anti-theistic position, rather you answered one regarding your atheistic/deistic position.
