Christian Hate in Regards to Paganism

Why is there a more apparent hatred for paganism (as opposed to other religions) in the Christian community? Not all Christians do this of course, but from my experience the majority of the Christians I have met are quick to slander pagans without doing the same to Muslims, Hindus, and most other members of alternate religions.

I haven't noticed this but I think it might be considered PC to seem smiley and accepting to major religions. There are simply fewer people to offend if speaking out against paganism.

Pagan is often a catch all term; they are talking about Hindus and Buddhists and most others.

Occasionally, Jews and Muslims get a pass, because they're monotheists, and sometimes considered to be worshiping the same god.
Sometimes, Catholics are consider Pagan, or worse.

I don't know, but it just occurred to me that paganism is probably thought to generally refer to relatively liberal, non-authoritarian religions and/or involve worshipping "false gods," like brimsoneSalad's post suggests.
