Hello members of The Vegan Atheist Forum! I'm a new member and I'm here to introduce myself. I'll keep it short,
I'm an agnostic apistevist atheist, and I'm a millennial straight male human omnivore.
I'm looking forward to talking to you all.

New Member Introduction
Enjoying a mystery meal on a wobbly bridge between Veganland and Meatland. Care to cross the bridge halfway to have lunch with me?

Hi, welcome
Being vegan doesn't change that - you're still omnivore by nature.

All humans are omnivores.caLRo wrote:human omnivore

Thank you!
@miniboes Apistevist means I don't use faith to know things. The "U just gotta have faith, boy." doesn't work for me.
@thebestofenergy You're right, vegans can still digest and take the nutrients out of meat and other non-vegan food.
@EquALLity I have been atheist my entire life. I only got some superstitious stuff (old wives tales, folklore, etc.) from my family and friends, but those things never played a big role in my life.

Ah, I keep learning terms that I've never heard of and apply to me.caLRo wrote:@miniboes Apistevist means I don't use faith to know things. The "U just gotta have faith, boy." doesn't work for me.
I wonder, are you aspiring to be veg*n at all? Since you mentioned liking that TVA combines atheism and veganism?

@miniboes Currently not a vegan, but in the last few years I've been eating less meat and paying more attention to the things that I put in my body. Reading food labels, making better choices at the grocery store, etc.

How to become vegan in 4.5 hours:
1.Watch Forks over Knives (Health)
2.Watch Cowspiracy (Environment)
3. Watch Earthlings (Ethics)
Congratulations, unless you are a complete idiot you are now a vegan.

It's not really a conclusion, it's a fact - that humans are omnivores.Jebus wrote:What lead you to draw that conclusion?thebestofenergy wrote:All humans are omnivores.

Although, you might argue that our diets were mainly plant-based, and we ate meat only when necessary for survival.
