Why would an all powerful god do anything?

Post by TheDarkendStar »

Imagine if you knew everything could do anything and were immortal. Why would you do anything if you know what was going to happen whats the point of doing it if you know the outcome of every situation that could possibly happen whats the point of dong it in the first place.

In fact if I were god in this position that would be my definition of hell think about having done everything that has ever been knowing everything there is to know and you had to live eternally with that.Knowing everything nothing left to accomplish nothing left to learn nothing left to do that to me would be utter hell. That's why the idea of Heaven also sounds like hell because imagine after the first million years after you have done everything it would become hell.

That's one of the many MANY MANY reason it all makes no sense.

I totally agree. Part of the excitement of life is the joy of learning. If you were an omniscient being who knew the future entirely, it would also imply that you were powerless to do anything about that future. In this way, omniscience cannot coexist with the omnipotence.
