Rush Freewill- 4.00- 4.37. Geddy Lee's high falsetto combined with Neil Peart's drumming makes for perfect rock music

Genesis- The Lamia 3:20- 4:51 Whole Song is epic, but it turns into perfection when Peter Gabriel's perfect voice matches Phil Collin's drumming

X Japan- Art of Life 3:16-8:45 I might be cheating a bit here posting a 5 minute song part, but considering the length of the song (34 min.) it's only a small part. Yoshiki's drumming is the best I have ever seen before or since.

Boston- My destination. Brad Delp's (known as the nicest guy in Rock n' Roll) soaring vocals (starting at 1:23) on top of the beautiful guitar riffs get me every time.

Manfred Mann's Earth Band- Waiting for the rain- My favorite song of all time. But the part starting at 4:07 with the subsequent violin part always gives me the chills.

Helen Sjöholm- You have to be there. Such an epic finale to an epic song. The finale starts building at 3:57. The song has a religious theme but is written by two atheists (Bjorn and Benny from Abba)

Loreena McKennit- Dante's Prayer- Hard to know where to start in this one as the whole song is so great. However, the line "Please remember me", followed by the vocal part at 2.30 almost puts a tear in my eye.

The Doors- When the Music's over- The soundtrack of my youth. The long and somewhat boring instrumental part ends at 9.40 when Morrison starts one of his best vocal performances ever ending with the beautiful "until the end" lyric at 10:33

Alphaville- Lassie Come Home- I can't recall ever hearing a slow song with such a "rich" sound. Again, hard to pick a part from this song and it hurt not including the excellent intro. However, if starting the clip at 2:35 one gets the cool "in the park" lyric at 3.15 which is hard to get your head around. It also includes the cool vocal layers at the end of the song which sound like they are trying to catch up with the music.

Led Zeppelin- The Rain Song- Like Stairway to Heaven this song starts slow and finishes strong and the voice nuances is what made Robert Plant so great. My favorite part is the faster part from 5.05- 5:50

The Who- The epic see me, feel me line from Tommy 00.07-1.05

Susanne Vega- The Queen and the Soldier. The intro is my favorite intro to any song, particularly the first note. Anyways, if you haven't heard this song before you definitely need to see it to the end. Possibly the greatest lyrics ever.
