insight on eggs

hello! ive been thinking about this subject and i want to bring it up for you to give your insight on this as well:
chickens lay unfertilised eggs everyday or every few days, depending on the chicken, in hope to form a dozen of them, then she will stop laying eggs and, instead, sit on and care for them. the chicken will lay eggs even if she has perviously mated with a rooster or not, but if she didnt, then those eggs arent fertilised.
my question is: in scenario where a person has and cares for chickens and dont have roosters, would be moral for that person to consume the eggs, knowing there isnt any life in them?
thank you for your answers! stay safe!
